Daniel M Lincoln is a New York City based music director, pianist, orchestrator/arranger, and composer.
Raised in Los Angeles, California, Daniel trained as a concert-level classical pianist and vocalist. As a child, he made a name for himself as a recording and voiceover artist; his voice appears on children’s TV shows such as the syndicated “The Huggabug Club” (PBS Television). As a teenager, Daniel was a classical soloist who sang with symphonies such as The New West Symphony in California. He composed his first full length opera at the age of 19, and acted as orchestrator and musical supervisor for its mainstage production at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is a graduate of UCLA (BA, Music: Vocal Performance and Music Composition) and NYU (MFA, Musical Theatre Writing).
Daniel has taught at NYU Tisch (Playwrights Horizons Studio and The New Studio on Broadway), New York Film Academy’s Musical Theatre Conservatory, and worked for Broadway casting agencies such as Telsey + Company.
Daniel has played for Broadway productions such as Wicked and On Your Feet!, and the Off-Broadway productions of Avenue Q and tick tick BOOM! Touring credits include Matilda, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Wizard of Oz (Associate Conductor and Assistant Music Supervisor), The Midtown Men (Music Director).
